Hello, my name is Yash Sharma and I am the Founder and the CEO of Interdisciplinary. Aside from this amazing initiative, I spend my time engaging in a multitude of extracurricular activities in both the Business and STEM fields. My business interests lay along the lines of business management, management information systems, and data analytics. I most prominently serve as a state officer and national council member within Future Business Leaders of America, but I also express my passion for business in leadership in other organizations. I currently serve as president of my County’s Young Ambassador Board which creates similar community service initiatives in our area of Illinois. As for the STEM aspect of my life, I have a vast interest in data science, psychology, and even biomedical engineering. I express this love during my summers in Abbott’s High School STEM internship program which I have been given amazing opportunities to express my love for data science especially. I also participate in clubs such as Science Olympiad and math science that have furthered my love for STEM.

Hi everyone! My name is Maxine Elloian, and I am the CMO of Interdisciplinary. Business and STEM both play major roles in my life, as I have had profound experiences with both that have attracted my interest to these fields. I have learned proper business etiquette and leadership skills through working on several different projects through Future Business Leaders of America, and I have brought this knowledge to competitions. I placed at the national level for a 3-D Animation Video I worked on, and I am currently a Co-Lead of the Community Service Committee at my high school. With this Committee, my Co-Leads and I are working with the Elementary School in our town to begin a mentoring program to assist the children there in the difficult times the pandemic has brought. FBLA and learning the ropes of Business has been an important part of my academic career, but STEM also has gained my interest and left an impact on me. I am certified in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Powerpoint, and I have enjoyed learning to code and making websites for different competitions in FBLA as well. This has sparked my interest in Computer Science, while being involved in my school’s Science Olympiad and HOSA clubs has also enabled me to learn more about a variety of science topics and healthcare. Consequently, Business and STEM are two fields I am passionate about and want to help others learn more about through ID.

Hey! My name is Ansh Shah! I am the CTO at Interdisciplinary. At this position, I've been able to work with my people and learn so much! My main interests are Computer Science and Software Development. I love being able to code and see results in real-time, and I think I can make substantial changes in my field. I've grown up with technology as a huge part of my life, and I aspire to continue in my field. Although I am not as into business as my peers, I do see the impacts of the business field on technology. Recently, business and technology go hand in hand, and it is necessary to observe and learn how they work together. Some of my other interests include hanging out with friends and family and having a good time. I love watching sports, especially football. Go Bears! I also participate in FBLA and love the experience of talking to other people and learning what my future may hold. I am currently competing in the Coding & Programming event which has actually given me insight on website building, especially for this site. Participating in the Young Ambassador Board of Lake County has also helped me connect with people and give back to my community. Feel free to email me anytime, I'd love to talk!
